Dear Effingham Public Library Community:
Welcome back! We’ve missed you!
The library is now open 9 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Library visitors will be limited to 35 at a time.
All visitors should wear a mask.
All visitors come to the doors facing our East parking lot.
From our first floor service counters we can help with:
faxing, copying, wireless printing, notary, renewing library cards, requesting items, picking up items and summer read registration and materials.
The first floor is now open for browsing! We have also brought down a selection of items from the second floor for browsing.
There is no access to study rooms or the second floor at this time.
This year it’s more important than ever to stop the learning loss that happens without daily school attendance. Register here for our free Summer Read Challenge! Specially designed to stop “summer slide” Summer Read Challenge is free and open to both youth and adults.
